Hello there! Well -you seem very busy but I'm glad you found time to start this new volume! Lovely bright pages....stunning cover! Good luck with your accountancy and beauty business studies....and thanks for taking the time to look at and 'love' my 'Bluebell Wood'.
Beautiful pages - wish I had a green thumb to create that gorgeous garden. Love page 3 too. I haven't the discipline to do daily, like the idea though.
Beautiful pages, page 3 is my favourite!
Beautiful - I love the layout on the first page :)
Very good images and well designed pages.
Tank you, thank you, thank you for all your comments! I will try to get back to everyone...Elena
Love the musical performance page... like how you've used an opaque photo as a background there! :)
Also, love the beautiful flowers on page one and your garden is coming along nicely... so very pretty! :)
When you have time, be sure to add this tag to your 365 scrapblogs:oneyearscrapblog:)
I like these pages, they are very nice!I like the musical performance page and how you used the opacity, I also love your flowers. Thanks for stopping by my April 365 and Im glad you like it.Jess
Beautiful pages here!Your orchid is fabulous! The kids are adorable!
Thank you for leaving the nice comment/compliment on my "Happy Days" scrapblog! You asked how I created the background on page 12... Well, I did use two different photos of the same flower, for starters. I loosely freehand cropped one flower then cranked up the softness, so it would blend into the background... then I made it very opaque.I tried just layering the entire photo (not cropped) over the distressed orange background, but the orange didn't show through enough. That's why I decided to go the freehand route, plus by freehand cropping I could control the positioning of the flower!Hope this helps!Karen
Hi again Elena :)Thanks so much for your beautiful words :)Regarding your English, not to worry, I'm not English eiather and often I get it wrong, but your English is very good! I don't think you have much to worry...Regarding the way I make pages.... it's difficult to explain, because I don't really have much of a method...in these last few albums, I knew what I wanted to do, which was a diary of my child's early years....so I first took photos of the photos (I find it that gives you a bigger file and easier to work than scanning them), then go putting pictures in the page (I always start with a blank page) and generally I have this or that sticker that I would like to use, so I work around it....The way I decide what goes where is pretty much, like you well observed, by color coordination theory...If the photo has some read and blue, I will include something which goes well with those colors, or maybe the other way around, say the photo has lots of red and blue but has one little bit of green, then I start looking for elements in green....I sometimes search for stickers typing what I want in the search area, (say *blue* or *yellow* or *letter* or *ribbon*) but also I like just browsing because that way you may find things you forgot were there..... in the search, I go saving what I reckon I may use for another page too....also you have to remember that, though I am now buying a lot from SB, I use stuff from Digifree, which gives me an idea of what I have in my Photobucket folders and can use, but they take a long time to materialize in the builder, so I prefer SB's own...but I don't have one special way of doing things....Sarita says when we buy the digital camcorder, she will film me when I scrap LOL so maybe you can see then, problem is that not one time is the same ... I also keep coming back to pages, because I may have found something when I am in page 20 which I think could go well in page 9.... and sometimes I m just purely not inspired....I find it that, having a purpose make it go smooth....it's easier when you have a story to tell... :)will try think about anything else that could help you and try coming back :)Thanks again for your kind words :)Huggzzz
Well done for fitting this in around college! It must be quite a task. Thanks for looking at 'Renovation'.You referred to page 5 - my husband and his brother took out a partition wall (the fake wood in the picture) between the original tiny kitchen and the living room. We have kept all the fireplaces and will clean them up to their full glory! The living room will become one large open plan kitchen/dining/living area.
beautiful pages all of them...pages with kids photos on them are my favourite.
You have an amazing gift for photography! Your family is beautiful, I realy like the Easter page. I can't imagine trying to do a page a day! But it sure would be fun to dream about! Happy early Mother's Day! - Becca
Beautiful, stunning and amazing....love finding your pages as they are gorgeous...keep them coming...love annie
Coming back quickly...If you took all the photos yourself, well done!I have a soft spot for p.7, maybe the color scheme...Thank you for your comments on my Train of Life SBlog and sorry that it made you sad.I felt that the images and texts were quite bittersweet; maybe it's my age too.NB
Thank you very much for your kind comment on my last Scrapblog and I am so glad that you liked it.NB
Thanks for stopping by to view my newest "365"... sorry I haven't been making more stops here to view yours! We've been busy moving into a new house and I haven't had much time to spend on Scrapblog, but things are starting to settle down here! I still have boxes to unpack, but not nearly as many!!! :)I love the transformaton page... with the lily pad flower... that's very cool! Love how you added the lily pad frame over the flower photo... it's a brilliant idea, I think! :)Love all of the pages featuring your children... they're so adorable! :)Well, take care and thanks again for stopping by! :)Hugs!Karen
Hello! How is your course going? Thanks for visiting my 'Sweet Williams'.I'll try to explain how to use coloured font without actually doing it....otherwise you will only see the result! At the start of your message type font color="blue" inside the pointed brackets <>At the end of your message type/font inside the pointed brackets<>Of course you can use any colour instead of "blue" but you must write color rather than colour!I hope you can understand all that. Otherwise a google search on 'coloured fonts' should bring up something!
Very nice!!!
I love page 16 -the frog and the bright pink flowers. I don't think I had seen that one before....
Just as nicely done as your first one. Good luck with your college schedule.
Hello there!I see you have some new pages since I last looked! Your photos are nice and sharp unlike some of my latest shots on my 'BRIGHTON MARINA'! Thanks for visiting that one! No -we don't own a boat although my husband used to have a small boat which he mainly used on the Thames. The one you picked out on page 2 probably cost as much as a flat (or even a house) would!
