Awe! I am so glad to see May, it's one of my favorite months! I love the flowers of spring! These pics are stunning and of course your scrapping skills enhance them wonderfully!I hope you transition goes smoothly. :)
Wow!!!!! What a great way to start off the day, by reading all of your comments! Thanks for all of the compliments... you're all too sweet! :) When I took Blaze for his walk yesterday, I focused on photographing flowers. Blaze was very cooperative, so I was able to get more photos than usual! He usually gives me a tug when he wants to continue his walk, but yesterday he gave in by resting each time I stopped to take photos! :) He'd find a nice shady spot and just sit and rest and take in all the sights and sounds! Blaze is a good dog! :)I'm thinking about spinning the May 1st photos into a whole new scrapblog, because I have soooooooooooooo many more flower photos to scrap! :) Hugs to all!Karen
How pretty and different. Great work!!!!!
Great pictures! A very pretty way to start May! :)

(not unusual when you are the artist!!!):)Huggzzzz
Always a real pleasure to veiw your work Karen, Inspirational stuff...Love Gwen x
I'm glad Blaze didn't tug his lead so that you were able to get these lovely photos to begin your Volume 4!
excellent photos & beautiful scrapblog.
Well, I must commend you, Karen, for doing such a remarkable job keeping up with the challenge of taking a photo everyday. I am not as diligent in my photo taking as I used to be. I can't even promise myself I will be because I know I wouldn't. I tend to take photos in spurts. Currently, I have some photos I need to upload to the computer. I only took 1 photo of Jan while she was here, but I will make a page of it when I get a moment.Take care,Annemarie
Karen, I see that you did add 2 photos last night! Kirsten and Evan do look SO NICE and they look really happy! Kirsten's dress is gorgeous! Is Evan wearing the tie you bought for him, because it does match her dress? Their friends look nice, too. Hope they had a lot of fun at their prom!!

Love your newest pages, Karen...the rose page for Chilypepah (so cute with the Baby Einstein critters), and the 2 "turtle" pages.... the page with several turtles, plus the fish is so cute with the felt underwater scene and the fish graphics! Adorable!Hope you had a relaxing Mother's Day!!! Maybe you took a break from packing? I'm so glad to hear that you're hiring movers and that Bart is protecting his arm!!!I had a nice day today.....yesterday was a full, busy day with Caitlin's graduation, a little reception at her house for her and three other graduating seniors, and then went out to eat. Allison & Josh came down from St. Augustine and of course Jason was there as well. And my mother was with us, too!! This is the week that Megan and Dave are gone on their trip to Holland and Belgium and we have Jack all week, but his sweet baby sitter took care of him all day Saturday! This morning we went to church (took Jack with us!) and this evening, Jason and Caitlin cooked a Mother's Day dinner for us!!! Called Amy and she loved all the gifts from everyone, including the goodies from you all! If you haven't heard what may be ailing Bob (a new possible diagnosis), she can fill you in on that!HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!Love,Susie

Kirsten playing the piano was great, how long has she been playing?Jess
Note: You are hearing another performer (via youtube) on page 21. You are not hearing Kirsten's actual performance here. Kirsten is finishing up her third year of piano! She's come a long way since she has started and we're very proud of all she has accomplished! :)Karen

I really like the gorgeous close up flowers, and the beautiful way you designed the pages of Kirstin - I like page 8, with the photo all lit up - you have so many wonderful techniques Karen. The piano pages of course are amazing! And I LOVE the fortune cookie page! Your new house looks so inviting and beautiful. Did you get to design it all yourself?

I hope all went well with the closing today!Good luck with the moving part, thank goodness for vacations!:)I'm sorry I can't help!{{{Hugs}}}
Hey! Yes, we closed yesterday... we're now proud owners of a new house!!!!! Everything is going semi-smoothly, so far! Kirsten, Blaze and I spent the night at the new house last night! Blaze seemed very confused and a little stessed... he couldn't stop panting, but he seems to be doing better this morning! Our goal was to leave him here with just Kirsten, but he was crying for his momma and daddy, so one of us had to stay here, just to comfort him... Sometimes he acts like a small child! This scrapblog will be a few days behind... still soooooooo much to do, but we made a small dent yesterday, so we're slightly ahead! Gotta run... I'll be back later today!Oh, I wasn't here for Disney's fireworks, but Kirsten reported they were spectacular and very, very loud... Blaze didn't like them. I did hear the train whistle from Animal Kingdom train??? It's from one of the theme park, not sure if it really is the Animal Kingdom. We actually heard it quite a few times yesterday. Also, heard about 10,000 frog croaking! I've never heard that many frogs at one time... it's almost deafening!!!! Bart said he thought he heard an alligator... they make a distinct sound at night.Hugs!Karen
It all sounds hectic but fun! Poor Blaze....I hope he settles! You can actually see the Disney fireworks from your new house?! That must be a bonus!
Pretty Magnolia!
Karen, So glad to hear things are going well for you guys!! I was pleased to see a note from you here!! I sure hope Blaze gets accustomed to his new surroundings soon!! I didn't realize that you live that close to the Disney Parks!!Enjoyed getting Kirsten's graduation announcement and her lovely photo with it!!Love,Susie
Hey all! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back here... I've been packing and unpacking all day... with little to no rest... second day in the row... my feet hurt, my back hurts, my neck and shoulders hurt my head hurts... I guess you could say I hurt all over! LOL! In case you're wondering - we're still packing up the loose ends at the old house, but I think we're just about finished, or will be by tomorrow! Our emails and home phone number changed, again! I'll get the new information to you all soon. I did manage to take Blaze for a walk this morning... got a few good photos... will try to get them in here sometime tomorrow! My goal is to take a break or two then!Oh, and to answer your question, cazjane... yes, we can see the Disney fireworks from our front yard! The house next door to us is blocking us from seeing the fireworks from inside of our house, otherwise we'd have a spectacular view! Blaze is doing better... he's still not sleeping much during the day and wants to follow me. I even took him along with me to the old house this morning. He insisted on joining me... just stood next to the truck and waited as I was trying to get him to go back into the house. Normally, he obeys, but he knew I was leaving and he was determined to join me! He's a little stinker sometimes! ;)We had a nice walk this morning... there is so much to see here! We walked along a conservation area and ended up at a little gazebo overlooking the most beautiful pond!!!!! This neighborhood is full of ponds and is also on a large lake! We'll do our best to visit all of them. I really like it here... it's so peaceful and pretty...Sorry for the long comment! I'll be back tomorrow!Hugs!Karen
Thanks for updating us! You must be exhausted.....take a break! Hey.....just knock down that house next door and you will have a GREAT view of the fireworks from the comfort of your own settee! Watch out for the more dangerous wildlife in those ponds! Take care!
Thats so awesome that Kirsten could see and hear the Disney Fireworks from your new house, my mom and I love that.Your new pages are very nice and Im glad Blaze is adjusting to the move ok.Thanks for stopping by even though your busy and leaving a nice comment, Im glad you enjoyed my tutorial! :DJess
Thanks for keeping in touch! I don't know how you do it! I was interested in all the updates.....not too keen on the idea of alligators, though....I hope they won't get in your swimming pool when it is built!Yes -the clematis (pale lilac with stripes)is Nelly Moser. Page 9 is our eucalyptus tree!
Oh.....I LOVE page 33 with Blaze asleep in the new house with his head UNDER the pillow! He IS a character!!!
Oh, isn't Blaze a sweetie pie!
If you haven't already, I bet soon you'll find some turtles to feed in all those lakes and ponds!
May 25th page is really cool
just stopping by to say hello!and....you have been re-loved!XoX
Blaze seems to have settled in judging by the picture of him sitting by the lake on May 26th.! You are managing to update this scrapblog despite the move......well done!
Loving your newsest pages of Blaze by the pond!
I agree with Susie....that is a lovely picture of Blaze by the pond for the 27th. May. Is that pond very near your new house?
Beautiful, beautiful Kirsten!! We're proud of her for so many reasons!!!! Congratulations to Kirsten on her graduation from highschool! I added a new page or two to my scrapblog, including a new cover page!
On the May 29th entry... the spiderweb is REAL; the spider is NOT. It's a Scrapblog sticker! :)
Now I can see your scrapblog....I think I came to it just as you were publishing the newest page!!! Oh my gosh....your photograph of the spider web with all the dew drops is so amazing!!! My jaw dropped when I saw it and love the page design, too!
These are stunning photos!!!! I'm mesmerized by the one with with light pastel colors and sunlight! And the dew drops on the web are glistening in the sunlight!!!!
Magical spiders' webs -just gorgeous!
P.S. Do you know if the 'scheduled maintenance' has taken place yet -or will 'Scrapblog' suddenly go offline anytime now?
Stopped over to finish up May! You have some beautiful photos to finish off the month in style! I had seen some on facebook, and loved them there..but I don't remember the spiderwebs..they are so cool..and magical like cazjane said! Better go check out June! xoxox Gayle
