OK! I CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE!
It's a new month tomorrow and I can't wait to get started! :)
well, I m so glad I did get a notification this time!!!!I think that what is happening is that, either when they are doing adjustments to the site then after the links dont work, or something was wrong with my email a few times.... because I had no notifications from yours for a while, then I got a couple, then they stopped again...I can't wait to see more of this, I really delight my senses with everything you do, but you have now a gifted photographer eye added to the marvels you have always done....in these past few months (well, almost a year, isnt it? since you started shooting?) I have seen photos in your SBs that if you post to Flickr I'm sure you will get all the awards (dont go though, because then you will have no time for SB!!!! LOL, I stopped doing so much Flickr because it was time consuming, but I learned a bit about photography just by looking around...)Your templates are always marvelous, so much that one runs out of words :)I do apologyse not having been around much to thank you for the loves, but (I think I did tell you but I'm not sure) I was going through a raugh patch... I have sorted some key problems I had now, so I hope things will run smoothly at least for a while! :)I also have doctors this thrursday to get the results of all that testing...anyway, not gonna blah blah anymore lolplease, Karen, do let us know when you add more pages, don't want to miss them :)Thanks so much for always being you, :)(and these wonderful, brilliant pages you always give us!)HUgggzzzzz

Well, Karen, what can I say after Mrs.Peel:))? That I always look at your pages, find some amazing details then after some time I look again and can find more interesting things...Just wanted to say thank you for all knowledge and beauty you always bring and of course more pages, please!Take care,Elena
Yes I find it funny how challenge 17 voting has ended up too, its going to be interesting to see who wins! :)Jess
I agree with Mrs Peel, I always look forward to your new creations. you are an inspiration

Thanks for the nice comments and *love*, friends! You're all very sweet and always so supportive! Scrapblog friends are the best, don't you agree?I decided to dive right into June with a frog leaping for a spider... is he going to eat the spider???? No, I think he's just going to give him a big hug and a kiss! ;)Hugs to you all!Karen
Oh, a new one for June -good! It will mean less scrolling for a while, too! Are you looking forward to the 5th. June?
Happy Birthday for the 5th June Karen.Hope to get back to see many more of your SBs when I can. Love what I have seen so far. Thank you for all you have taught us here in Scrapblog. Take CareMaureen
Thanks for the latest....I'll have to look into that name 'Sweet Williams'. I've been lazy recently and haven't been renovating for a week but my husband and brother-in-law have been in all the time! I must get back there to take some photos, at least! I think I did TOO much early on and I've had a flare up of RA. I go to the hospital this week to see the consultant nurse and she will probably tell me I shouldn't have done ANY!
.....I've just 'binged' Sweet William....see my comment column for an answer to your question!
haha thanks, Im glad you enjoyed my christmas pages. I love your water droplet spiderweb picture, its really cool! :)Jess

Karen, I added two pages to your birthday scrapblog!! I needed some pics of you, so hope you don't mind.........I went to your albums on Snapfish!!! And you may recognize the flower photos.......they were from the day I spent with you and Blaze....remember that Bart transferred your photos to my camera!!!I hope you have a nice birthday weekend!!! Knowing you, with the time you took off for your move, you'll be working?!Love,Susie

This is wonderful!I love the pretty parrot on the front page.I can't wait to see what else June has in store for your pages.XoXBev
I see Blaze has a new girlfriend.....but isn't she a bit small and fluffy for him? They would make an odd couple!
Karen,glitter-graphics.comLove,Susie
I LOVE THE BEE PAGE:)glitter-graphics.com
yeah space. for me its fun because im learning about space in school and i like learning about space too:)glitter-graphics.com
I love that spiky purple flower, very cool!!I hope you have a very Happy Birthday on June 5, I will come back later to sing to you. lolJess
Doggerel.Blaze said to Chloe, whilst playing in the park"The 5th. is my Mom's birthday -that should be a lark!""Oh, goody,"simpered Chloe, scampering round his feet,"Will there be dog treats, things for us to eat?""A cake from Publix, I am sure, with chocolate on the top-But you are NOT invited, my little fluffy mop!" written on learning that Chloe is not allowed to follow Blaze around!
I'd be flattered....it's only a little ditty.....do what you like with it!
Thanks for allowing me to use your poem, cazjane! I'm heading off to work soon, but I'll get busy designing a page late tonight!Karen
Love the interaction here with cazjane's poem for Blaze and Chloe!! Can't wait to see your new page with it, Karen!! I also love the newest pages I haven't commented on: Blaze and Chloe, the lovely flower pages and Bart walking "crazy" Blaze!
Love that flower page! and the bee is fabulous too. Blaze looks very happy in the new place!Sherri
Cazjane's Doggerel is perfect! And as I expected you have scrapped it beautifully! I love the softness in the colors with the flowers and the dogs. The bee page is fab!
Oh thanks, little_m! I'm honoured! I'm just wondering if 'that should be a lark' (meaning a 'frolic' or 'spree') is readily used in the U.S.A....I hope people don't think Blaze is just pointing out a type of bird to Chloe!
the latest page is just beautiful!
the latest two pages are gorgeous!!
June 3rd. and June 4th. are brilliant! Very summery and uplifting! You are RIGHT up to date, too!
June is starting off beautifully! Love the flower pictures, and the poem from Cazjane is so darling!! What cute little mop Chloe is! Looks like Blaze goes a little crazy when Big D walks him..he's almost sideways..silly dog!Wanted to say Happy Birthday to you also! I hope you have a very special day!oxxo gayle
Today's the Day! Have a lovely birthday...your first in your new home!.....and is there a Publix cake for tea?!
Happy Birthday!Have great day!I love your entry for today, it's so different from the flowers and pretty scenery you have been featuring lately
That cinnamon bun looks tasty and I bet you devoured a whole one!The blackberries you found on your walk are out early.....I think of collecting them at the end of Summer! Continue enjoying your special day!
Your Happy Birthday page is too funny, lolHappy BirthdayJess
the cinnamon roll looks yum-o!http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/cinnamon-rolls-recipe/index.htmlcheck out this yum recipe.
Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! :) I had a great 48th! Wow! Really? 48??? Why don't I feel it? LOL!
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!Beautiful pages, and I'm glad you had a beautiful day with plenty of pampering and indulging! Enjoy this year - hope it's fantastic! :)alicia
Dear Karen.Sorry I missed it all for all sorts of reasons, mainly not accessing the internet for a while...I hope you had a fabulous birthday and you'll have a fabulous June too. It's amazing how fast you can work with SBlog and that you manage to keep up to date with your 365 days, in spite of everything.Congratulations and best regards.NB
Man the one day I didn't log into to scrapblog. I missed your birthday. I was busy closing up the school year and getting ready for summer school. Well, Happy Birthday. I DID have birthday cake today for another friend's birthday, so just think I was there in spirit!Huggs,Annemarie
Oh -I've just noticed that chocolate cake on page 4! Did you actually have one in the end?
great new pages :D
Wow you look great for 48, You totally dont look it. :)I like the last page with the touch of blue with Blaze, its a neat effect.Jess
I've just logged in briefly and see that you have two new pages....you are certainly keeping up with this project. I love the perspective on page 13 with Blaze in the front and the lake disappearing into the distance.
.....No -sorry - that should be page 12!
Snapped a better photo of a baby gator this morning... :) You'll see the baby featured on my June 8th entry!
that baby alligator and wildflowers are super cute, I saw baby turtles and aligators yesterday. :)Jess
Whoa -when you came to my page and mentioned a little baby I was picturing something sweet in a bonnet in a pram......not an alligator! I expect he could give you a nip even at that size.....I hope Blaze isn't considering a swim!
Two foot long -that's quite a size. I wouldn't like to try putting a baby's bonnet on THAT! It brings back memories of my son (when little) about to poke one with a stick in Cyprus Gardens!
Hehe, chloe looks like Sophie! I added a few more pages on sophie's diary!
So incredibly beautiful Karen! Love everything about it! It's awesome! Luv ya!♥ Sherry
Love the busy bees!!
Just checking in...love the gator and the busy bees! You are so good at using that macro lens...the wild flowers were darling. And of course..no body can put a page together like you!! Gorgeous! xoxoxGayle
you amaze me every day!:)
Those photos of the bees and insects are REALLY sharp.....they make superb pages. Oh.....and I see the alligator features again! Do you see him often now? Any chance that he might stray into your garden? You will have to watch out if you DO build a swimming pool!
Hi Karen!!I was out of town for the weekend and am trying to get caught up on your newest scrapblog pages!! Loving all the insect and alligator pages! Looks like you have 3 alligators in view on the newest page!! I hope that Blaze keeps his distance from them, although I guess they may be too little to catch him!! Years ago I was surprised to find out how much alligators like to eat dogs!!!I was up in northwest Florida at the beach this past weekend and we saw some alligators in the Gulf of Mexico and on the beach........extremely unusual to see in salt water!! So Fred asked me if we were sure they were alligators as there is such a creature as a saltwater crocodile!Love,Susie
awesome, I love those bee photos, especially the one on the 'cute as a bug' page! The pink and purple are so pretty against that blue sky!! :)Love, Jess
I missed the most amazing photo opportunity today, because I left my camera at home!!!!! Why, why, why??????Kirsten and I went store hopping today. We started off by visiting the old house to see if we had any mail (we requested to have our mail forwarded to the new house, but for some reason it's taking forever to start). As we entered the gate to the old neighborhood we saw a turtle in the middle of the road!!!! Yes, it was one of the cooters!!!!! My daughter insisted that I stop the car, so she could pick the turtle up and place it back in the pond... and that's exactly what she did and that's the picture that I didn't get!!!!!! Not just a few close-ups of my favorite turtle species, but my daughter carefully carrying one back to a safer place! Uuuuuuuuugggghhhhh! I need to get into the habit of taking my camera along, no matter where I go! I've missed other amazing opportunties in the past!!!!! Well, there is always tomorrow... who knows what tomorrow holds!Karen
Oh, bad luck for missing that photo opportunity -that's where having a mobile 'phone camera comes in handy! You seem to be seeing alligators every day now....it would make me nervous! I expect you are used to them in your part of the world -I can't say we see them very often in Sussex!! The adder is the only potentially dangerous creature around here.I hope Blaze is better -maybe you had better keep him away from pond water for a while!
Karen, I said with hands on hips, is your camera so big that it doesn't fit into your purse? Or do you not carry a purse? For goodness sake girl keep that thing in your purse when you are not taking photos and you will always have it!...there I feel better now!:)
thats sad you didnt get Kirsten and the cooter's pic but your guardian angel Blaze page is adorable!!
the spider got trapped, ha, thats different
Your 'peaceful morning' is a lovely page -just sunny and optimistic with those rays of light shining on the lake.
Always a pleasure to come see the beautiful pages you add everyday, Karen!!! Everything looks so soft and magical (except the spider.....although her web is magical!). Love Blaze's guardian angel! Also loved hearing about brave, tender-hearted Kirsten carrying the turtle back to the pond!!! I think that turtle was out on an expedition to find you and Kirsten. The turtle was going through Karen/Kirsten withdrawal (or maybe Publix white bread withdrawal???)Sorry I haven't gotten back to you about my days off for a get-together!! I'm going to look more closely at my calendar and E-mail you tonight or tomorrow!! Are you getting all settled in your new house?!Thanks for that sweet "Thank you" card in the mail!! It meant a lot to me!! And of course YOU mean a lot to me, too!!Hey, I added a couple of new pages to my What is It? scrapblog about another sight. What do you think it is? Love,Susie
My goodness that sure looks like a fabulous morning to start the day!and your pink page is very pretty too!
thanks, Im glad you liked the pages!!
Wow I like the metal, white, and soft blue color combo, its very fresh!Jess
I see that Blaze is paddling in lakes again!
As usual, Karen, I love gazing at your pages! Looks like you and Blaze are having a grand time exploring your new surroundings! Sorry I haven't gotten back to you about my days off........I have been so busy working with lots of other goings on as well! Love,Susie
The bulletin board page is a so fun to see!! Looks like you're having fun filling it up! Great larger pic of Kirsten!
i've been busy sewing and kniting for the baby so i thought i'd better pop in and have a look at your new pages lots to see i love the bees on the flowers the spider looks good to i have done a sb with a spider that was on my clothes line is the spide a poisonous one ? xxx pauline
Thanks for the email, Susie! Happy 30th wedding anniversary to you and Fred! I know you're both looking forward to your week-long anniversary cruise, which is coming up soon! :)Love always!Karen
I love that noticeboard....it's a good advert for 'Scrapblog',too! Thanks for taking a look at the 'RENOVATION' updates. It's all taking much longer than we had hoped and our daughter will have to move back in with us for a time until it is ready as her rental agreement on her present flat runs out this weekend! HELP! Back to an untidy attic room!
Sorry -delete one copy...and this message!
The bulletin boards are looking great! I wish I had space in my house for a project like that! It's kind of like having your own art gallery! ...long time no chat!:o)
cool bulletin board pages, looks like your having fun with it.:D
I love checking in every once in a while to see what surprises you have for us. You never cease to amaze me. This is a great series of photos.I am working on my C photos right now. I will get it done soon.Annemarie
Wow, you're having fun with your bulletin board, Karen!! Love what I see on it and your pages here featuring it! Love the bulletin board background and all the cute accents on your pages!!Thanks for the anniversary wishes!!! Just tonight, Megan gave us an anniversary card (from all the girls and my mother) with a little gift certificate showing they had contacted our cruise line and added money to our "spending" account onboard! Wasn't that a thoughtful gift?!Love,Susie
News Alert!I just inserted a new page for June 13th... I forgot to scrap Blaze's third birthday! Silly me! Thought I should honor his birthday with at least one page (go to page 24 to see the new layout). All of the photos on page 24 were taken in our living room. Blaze was "trying" to enjoy a little rest and relaxation while I got busy with snapping the photos. They appear somewhat dark because I didn't use the flash! Didn't want to disturb him too much! He tends to get camera shy whenever I use the flash. Thanks for stopping by and leaving the nice comments... I'll get back to all of you within the next day or two! :)Hugs!Karen
Added another page... page 25 is new, too! :)
Happy Birthday to Blaze!! Your pages on him are adorable..but how could they not be with a model like Blaze! Also love the pretty in pink page..well,truth be known..I love them all! :)take care! xoxox Gayle
Fabulous pages Karen, I so enjoy seeing what your days consist of, I think I would need two days to your one to fit it all in, thank you for sharing all your great pages with us, and remember your Camera, the next time you are shopping...Love It.Hugs Gwen x
I liked your description of how Blaze was trying to get some R&R whilst you took his birthday pictures....he doesn't look too overjoyed!
Happy Birthday Blaze!I love your sb pages!
LOL! cazjane, you're correct... Blaze doesn't look too cheerful/happy on page 24! He's giving me that, "don't snap my photo" look! LOL!!!!! He is very much like a human sometimes! :)We haven't properly celebrated his birthday. I think I'll take him to the park in the old neighborhood, so we can feed the turtles... see if his ol' friend Rocko is home, chase a few squirrels, visit the old property... yes, a walk in the old neighborhood would be a very special treat for Blaze... we could then stop by the pet store, so he can pick out a few "presents" for himself! :)
Blaze wanted me to tell all of you that he very much appreciates the birthday wishes! He's three in human years, but 21 in dog years... guess that makes him a young adult, now???? My baby furboy is growing up! :)
Awww how cute, Happy Belated Birthday Blaze!!!
WoW! That hot tub looks great! What a nice way to spend Father's Day!
Love your newest pages that I'm getting caught up on!!Love the rose pages, the spider page, the bug page, and the Father's Day spa pages!! That is quite an elaborate hot tub! Looks like fun!
I think I have a few pages to catch up on here but it is late (i.e. gone 10 p.m.!!!) so I'll call in another day!
love the new pages, nice hot tub too!!
I've come back this morning to look at all the pages I've missed! Great close-ups of flora and fauna and that spa looks refreshing.....we are experiencing hot and humid weather here in the U.K. Maybe we will get through Wimbledon fortnight without any rain!
It's good to get some info on those 'Florida Gators'! Have any come close to your garden (spa?) yet?!
Well, this is just so coooooool
Aaawww, that's sweet, Karen....I wasn't expecting to see your sweet page about our visit and the little gifts! Thank you and I really had such a nice time with you and Bart!Love,Susie
Oh, I wanted to let you know, I added my last two pages to 'Caitlin Graduates' and I think I'll have it printed. One new page is inserted in the middle to adjust how it would look when printed and then the last page is new.
Hello little_m!It is good to read that SusieK has made it over to your new house......pretty presents, too! I like your latest wildlife photos, as well -the blue heron and the dragonfly. On the subject of 'wildlife' thanks for coming to my 'Renovation' page to tell me about the Moccasin Snake....is that one dangerous? It seems it IS by the way you were describing avoiding the swamp edge!I note you are faithfully calling in on 'Renovation'. I haven't been there myself for over a week -hence no new photos (well I do have a couple but I was waiting to get more!) My husband and his brother are continuing to build the kitchen and we have 'Miss Madam' (my son's name for our daughter when they were small!)back home with us! Enjoy your day!
pretty, pretty, pretty, love it!Thanks for visiting my All About Me scrapblog, Im excited that you enjoyed looking at it. Did you notice that page 17's song is "Call Me When Your Sober" by Evanesence (which I can hear) and page 10's song is supposed to play "3am" by Matchbox 20. (I know you like those two artists too thats why I am mentioning them lol)I say "supposed to play" because I can't hear it when I view it. You said that you heard all of the songs, did you hear that one and the others on pages 11 -17?Thanks again, Jess
ok thanks, I will try that video tip too. Hawaiigirl is trying to help me but Im not getting anywhere. :(Jess
oh and btw, I have added more pages to my June 365, take a look when you get the time!Jess
I know, its so cute! lolI didnt buy it, I just saw it on the shelve and said "Ooo Ooo, thats cute" and my mom just looked at me as giggled. lol
Enjoyed the newest pages, Karen! Liked seeing your view from where you sit and scrapblog! I did notice your laptop sitting in that spot when I visited, so I guessed that's "your" spot! Gosh darn, these fireworks in the neighborhood are so LOUD! But, not a peep from Jack so far.........I guess he can sleep through anything!
Hope you scroll back to see these notes tonight! Got your update on the fireworks! So cool and will you stay up and watch them again at 11:00? They sound so pretty! Wish I could join you for a little to see them!Thank goodness it has quieted down here....I think I just heard the grand finale of the neighborhood fireworks (mostly just sound.....not much to look at!)I was so happy to see Jack today because it had been over 2 weeks since I last saw him! He is taller and getting quite a tan....he loves to be outdoors and his hair is even blonder if that seems possible.....he had another haircut....just trimmed around the ears and neck and left a bit longer on the top.Speaking of blond hair.....I bet yours looks beautiful! Our cruise was fun and Fred was even in a show last night on stage.........singing a Frank Sinatra song.......they had these glitzy Las Vegas like shows every night, with singers, dancers, comedians, magicians, etc.....but fairly tame in content because of children in the audience. The show on the last night featured people like Fred (and other ship passengers that auditioned) that "impersonated" various famous singers, like Elvis, Madonna, Ricky Martin, Garth Brooks, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Gloria Estevan, Elton John, Britney Spears, and Frank Sinatra. We have a DVD now of the show that they gave him and a group photo of all the "cast" members of the show: includes these ship guests and the professional singers and dancers that performed with them! Fred only auditioned because they heard him sing during a Kareoke (sp?) night and they asked him to audition!
I'm home now from Meg and Dave's amd just now saw your longish note on one of my older SB's. Glad you enjoyed the movie! Thanks for the invite on the 10th, but I do have to work that day!!! Tell her a big hello from me and now that answers the mystery for me about your upcoming surprise page(s) for July 10th!Still planning to join you at the end of July for the CHA convention and dinner.. have asked off for that day and the next!
