What great travels together, I love it, so much fun! What a fabulous year too, filled with great adventures.
Wow, this is one of the best first sb's I have ever seen, crammed full with wonderful moments, and great layouts. And thankyou for loving my story so far! :O)glitter-graphics.com
Hi, thanks for the lovely comments. I used an uploaded picture for the background on page 5 and cropped the hands and made them a bit transparent with the opacity button. All the other background are off scrapblog. They look different because I got the backgrounds off stickers instead. If you search background in stickers you can get them so that you can make them bigger and smaller or make them transparent with opacity. So if you make the background a certian colour and then put the sticker background over and make it slightly transparent you get a wonderful effect.Same with shapes if you get a normal background from backgrounds, you can cover it with a shape and make it transparent slightly, this way you can make darker backgrounds lighter or vice versa. If you look under the tag tutorials on explore you will find lots of helpful sb's by wonderful scrapbloggers showing you how to.About the stickers, some I uploaded from photobucket (PNG files) but Alot are cropped photo's. There is a tutorial about that too.Goodness me I'm taking over your page!Hope this helped, always here if you need any help. :O)
Hi Trilogy Mom! I've been part of scrapblog for about 6 months and this is the first time one of mine has gotten to the featured area. :) Sometimes your blog can be chosen for the Friday 5 which is a very great honor. That is chosen by one of the members that works at scrapblog. If you are chosen for Friday 5, the blog will get a lot of attention. Otherwise, just do what you love- you have a lot of talent, it will get noticed. Make friends- everyone is very sweet and supportive :) Thanks for coming by and leaving such nice comments. They are always appreciated. :)LucyIf you are interested in tutorials, about backgrounds, gradients etc.Look up Little_m - mommyvictory - nbarnich - and wildlifebioThey have a slew of interesting tutorial blogs. Just sift though their newer stuff because they made them a bit ago. I've added you as a friend too, thanks for adding me.
:) Thanks Kathryn! Have lots of fun! It's a great place. oh, one more tip, you can find out tips and tricks and other stuff in the forum too. You can find the forum at the very bottom of the scrapblog page. It is like a message board to post questions, suggestions, problems you may be experiencing technically.:) Take care and talk soon. Can't wait to see what else you create.Lucy

You're so very welcome! Yes, you'll find that this is a very friendly and fun place to be... just one reason why I'm addicted to it! LOL!
Hi all my new friends, Today I edited my scrapblog because now some people are actually looking at it and it occured to me that I should perhaps protect the kids privacy a little. They are very private people. I had originally included a bio page without names hoping people would realize these are not just rich spoiled kids- they work hard for a living and contribute to the good of the earth. I have upublished that page and mede some other minor changes. I hope this is not a no-no! Kathy
