Good evening, Peggy! It was lovely to come to your page and see this new scrapblog! You have matched some very true words with just the right pictures and I 'love' it!Now, I'm going to call into your 'Ramblings'.
Very beautiful!June
WOW!!!!! This is so beautiful.
Oh Peggy, what beautiful card pages!
I love it! very nice
These are beautiful cards, Peggy. I love each of them... the words and images are perfect partners!Hugs,Roban
Thank you wonderful friends for stopping by ...I so appreciate your kind thoughts and love. I have certainly missed creating scrapblogs and hope to be a regular here again. These 3 cards are part of a new project I have taken on. My plan is to print several copies of each card (and future cards) and scatter them about in places I feel appropriate while I am out walking. I got the idea from a blog called Kind Over Matter.I feel these cards could create a ripple effect as this quote states:“Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” ~ Scott AdamsBig hugs everyone. And lots of lovePeggy xxxx
I love that quote! I collect quotes and have started making inspiration tags with them. I have a blog (tsdailytreasures.blogspot.come) so come visit me there sometime. Love your idea. I might need to visit Kind Over Matter. www.giftofkindness.com has little cards you can print and hand out to "pass it on" -- I love doing stuff like that. All the best to you. :) Tammy
That is a wonderful idea! I really love these beautiful pages, and it's neat to think they will be touching other people's lives. You never know the kind of effect it might have. Wonderful!! :)
very beautiful Peg.
A very nice variety of pages, Peg, with some very positive thoughts!!! Great idea to print these out and leave them various places for others to find!
I have a new one if you want to check it out;)
This is really nice. Love it.
Very nice indeed, Peg, great idea too to pass them out, very full of meaning and inspiration..annie
I've just come back here and read your explanation of what you are going to do with the printed out cards. It will be interesting to follow that up and see if other people leave 'words of wisdom' for you to find! It reminds me of a similar project where people leave a book they have finished and enjoyed for someone to pick up (not that I have ever found one).I'm a bit hazy about the details but I think you are supposed to then go online and leave a comment about the book at the appropriate website. It beats chain letters, anyway!
thanks for your nice reaction and your love. The sun is shining, so out we go. Bye for now!
Good luck with the 'book drop' then! It will be interesting to see how that goes!
Love them. Glad to see you felt the kindness bug.
What a nice, worthy act of kindness. Hugs to u Peggy.Love June
Thanks again everyone for your thoughtful comments and love....they are very much appreciated.Starting next week I'll be scattering these cards and books around Sydney....should be fun.:)Peg
this is really pretty Peggy
I love the pages, and I love your card drop idea! What a beautiful heart you have! :)Alicia
New cards -very striking! I hope you will let us know how people react -or if you get any feedback. I'll look out for a report either here or on your blogspot!
....Won't you be tempted to hover around incognito to see who picks up your cards and books?!
Looking forward to the next chapter in these events........!
You are just plain outragiously 'AWESOME'. I love this sb. Wonderful, just plain wonderful...lol Corby
I'm back - I love the new cards! Thanks for adding me as a friend and for your very encouraging words on my latest sb. Wish I could love this one again! I especially love page 5! I should put that up on my wall or something - it's a perfect inspirational thought for me, and the colours and photo all tie together so well. Hugs!Alicia
THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL. LOVE THAT DOGS SMILE TOO. BEAUTIFUL SAYING ON THE LAST PAGE. LOVE IT!!LYN
The kitten and the bird pics. you sent -amazing!How's the card drop and the 'observation' going?
Hi have changed my name to Lady Unya from Annie/Narlah....come see me soon...annie x
Thanks for the update!Yes -spanner was found today in deepest Brighton in the jungle which is 'Miss Madam's' understairs cupboard in her renovated flat!
Did you breakfast on Sydney Harbour Bridge at the weekend? That would have been an ideal place for your card/book drops!
A great set of pages, very inspirational Peggy. And a HU too.Thank you very much for your kind support with my "Sorry" pages. Hope to be back soon.NB
Good morning, Miruspeg!I hope it has stopped raining in Sydney and you will be able to get out there and drop cards and take photos! We, on the other hand, are enjoying fab weather -as warm as June today, apparently.Painting has come to a standstill as we oversee 'snagging' at our son's new build place (entailing making tea for the decorators, mainly!) I have taken a few (boring) pictures of the paint colour and the shelves back in place etc. which I may add later in the week. Then it will be on to putting down oak floors (well- not actually me doing any of that -more, my husband.) Have fun!
Thanks for the love. Fall is probably one of my favorite times of year and I had fun putting that SB together.
That was super quick! Thanks, Peggy! I echo MommyVictory's love of Autumn!
.......and thanks for the 'sun through bridge effect' photo!!!
Thanks for telling me -it's probably 'most loved' just for a few hours rather than days!Keep on dropping!
Thanks for the thoughts.
Stopping by to say "Hi", Peggy! Hope all is well with you and I'm trying not to lose touch. I've been kind of busy after my daughter's wedding and now imagine I'll get even busier with the holidays and my youngest daughter's wedding approaching (March 7th). Eventually I'll make a scrapblog about the recent wedding!
G'day mate! How's it going?
Yes, I used some older pictures of Cait. I was trying out the Quickmix builder. Thanks for love.
Good evening! Thanks for the newsy chat. It sounds as if you have been busy -visits with your mother, card drops and fixing things in your house. Here in G.B. we are having awful weather -gales, floods -nothing like the pretty frost on the card I designed. It's also unseasonably warm which I'd swap for dry and crisp! We continue with the oak flooring (cf. 'PROJECT')but also think we may still have a roof leak over at our son's place despite all the work on it! Hopefully everything is holding up over at the flat we renovated for our daughter. There is always something needing doing with property!Have a good week!
.......will be either at home or at our son's place (hopefully without leak.) Usually we are joined by my bro.and sis.-in -law. Not quite the same since Dad died (and Mum some years previously.)I'm in the midst of making the Christmas cake -puddings next!
Hi Peggy! It's been a while since we chatted in this venue! Thanks for stopping by my scrapblog. I saw something (maybe on Cynthia's facebook) about the quick mix and decided to try it for the freebies! It made me miss creating scrapblogs!I want to hear more about your card drops! Roban
Get that camera out and get snapping the recipients of your card drops! I'm only joking -I've been following your conversation on Roban's page.
What an interesting discussion (on my page)! I know you are an expert in such philosophies. You certainly have a valid point (my husband, reading your scenario over my shoulder said 'How depressing!') I've left you a note there.
Thanks for those amazing animal pictures you sent......one looked just like Gizmo (wrapped around a plant.)
Peggy - this is lovely!
Thanks for your New Year wishes and, of course, I wish you the same. We have just seen the celebrations in Sydney on our BBC News -so you are already well into 2010 which I hope will be an excellent year for you. I saw something in Times 2 today (part of 'The Times')which reminded me of your card drops. A journalist was saying that whilst looking at a favourite view, sitting on a favourite bench (in Cornwall)she wrote down her thoughts and left them in a box for others to read and then to add their own musings......Enjoy your day whatever the view from where you are!
very lovely cards, like the 1st one about the hugs. Sounds like a fun project, I wish you success and most of all fun with it..Margot
