This is my little brother, Rick and his girlfriend, Ann. He loves remodeling old places and found this old campsite area with four buildings on a spot where he used to go as a boy. He bought two of the camps and will buy the other two eventually so he will own that whole spot. My sister, Jane and I, went to visit them yesterday after I got out of the hospital for more tests for my Colon Cancer. They only live 7 miles from the hospital. I had never been there before. The other kids had a picnic there this summer but I was not well enough to go. I really enjoyed seeing his "Cottage Of Content"
Looks like a beautiful place. Wished I could spend a week there. Hope you are doing well.Lyn
A great location and everybody seemed to have enjoyed themselves and the beautiful place, the Cottage of Content.A very good photo report. Well done. NB
BEAUTIFUL AND i LOVE BEAUTY OF THE SURROUNDS. DO HOPE YOU ARE GETTING BETTER..TAKE CARE ANNIE
Thank Lyn, Norbert and Annie. I have yet to begin getting better. Radiation and Chemo comes next before surgery. That is IF I decide to have it. I'm still undecided. I hate the thought of that radiation burning me and the chemo killing my whole body. But it's my decision alone. For now I'm just taking it one day at a time.I'd love to live where my brother lives. No one around but nature. Awesome!
Looks like a great place to relax and I'm sure it will be a great place for all the family. I was sorry to hear you have cancer and I wish you well with the treatments. I understand the hesitation of radiation and chemo and it's effects. My husband under went it four years ago. May God bless amd heal
Thank you Elaine.
What a cozy and quaint cottage! Your scrapblog is just gorgeous, too. I love the way you added all the different view of the rooms and the surrounding areas. Thank you so much for sharing, and also sending healing thoughts your way. Love,Gayle
Thank you very much Gayle.
I love it!
How wonderful! I could certainly be content in a cottage like that where nature abounds. Your brother did a good job with the remodeling. I love the Beatles dolls in the drum. Wishing you all the best as you take one day at time -- only you can know what is best for you. Blessings, Tammy
