Karen- This is so awesome- very nice indeed! Thank you for sharing the link with me. I keep all Military in my daily thoughts and prayers- and hoping Kyle returns quick and safely :)
To hear the background music click on "Play Slideshow"...
Karen,This is a very nice tribute to Kyle, the USAF, and your family. What song is playing in the background? Blogs are a very nice way to keep friends and loved ones up to date. I look forward to checking this in the future for news on Kyle. We are proud of him and are keeping him and his buddies in our prayers. We hope his spirits are staying up!Love, Susie
The background music on this blog is called "Succeeding"...
Oh Karen,What a great job you did on that! Mark and I just watched it and got all choked up. Keep working on it and we will keep watching it grow. It will be the perfect thing to play for everyone at his homecoming party!!Love,Brian
Good job Karen. I didn't know Kyle had a tatoo. Kyle's always in our prayers for a safe return.
I'm sorry Kyle's life has to be risked to stabilize an area that Bush's Saudi buddies messed up in the first place.Saudia Arabia keeps funding crazy terrorists, and America says nothing about it.Patrick
Karen, honey, you've done a wonderful job on your family scrapbook! Keep it up kiddo! I knew there was a crafter in you...how could there not be...it's in the genes!! I'll stay tuned to see how it's progressing.love ya,A.Jan
Hi Karen, This scrapbook is great. I love the music you choose as well. Kyle is in our thoughts and prayers. I look forward to hearing of his home coming. We are so proud of the courage and sacrafice these young men are carrying everyday and can feel the heavy heart the families endure of their loved ones being away from home. Please thank him for us.Brenda
Wow! Thanks for all of the nice comments!I hope you all are enjoying Kyle's scrapblog, and you continue to keep him in your prayers, as well as all servicemen and women in the military! They are the backbone of our nation, and make us who we are today!
Hi,I was looking at your scrapbook and you did a really nice job. I will be adding Kyle to my prayers. God bless you and your family
I love your scrapblog they are beautifull!!!
Thanks for the compliment Stefy! I enjoyed your scrapblogs as well!Karen
Thanks for the comment Karen! You did a great job of scrapblogging your son's photos. I just came back from visiting friends stationed in Seoul, South Korea and also visited the Korea War Memorial there. It's interesting to hear their stories and see their life outside of the U.S. I'm truly appreciative of what they do for our country. Happy Holidays!
Very nice slide. Your son will be in my prayers. As an army wife I understand the value of prayer and know the fear associated with loving a military man. I am so glad he may be home for Christmas. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday together!
Thanks for the nice comment, JamiesPAW! Yes, you are correct on the value of prayer! I'm sure that is what has kept my son safe up to this point! Thanks for keeping my son in your prayers, I will do the same by keeping your husband in mine! Unfortunately, my son won't be home for Christmas this year. However, he is due to leave Afghanistan soon! He's already packed his bags, because they're moving out of their b-huts on Dec. 27th (that's a Christmas present in itself), so they can make room for their Navy replacements. He should be back in the states sometime in January, if everything goes as planned! Hopefully, he'll be allowed to come home sometime soon after that! I hope you and your husband have a fabulous Christmas and a very happy 2008! Best wishes to you both!Karen
Looks like we will be celebrating around the same time. Mine is due to return in January as well. We plan on celebrating the holidays when he arrives. Hopefully you will be able to all be together and celebrate your sons homecoming.
Hi JamiesPAW,Yes, we'll be celebrating Christmas a little later, as well! After training their replacements, my son will be leaving for Kygyzstan, Kazakhstan around the 3rd week of January, from there they fly to Baltimore, Maryland where they'll spend 3 to 5 days, then they head back to their home base in New Mexico. We're hoping the base Commander will allow him to come home to Florida soon after that... if not, he's already put in his request for vacation time in March! My son has only been in the Air Force for one year, and this was the first time he served overseas, so we're not sure exactly how all of this works... we would assume they would allow Airmen to take a little break, especially since he's served two back-to-back tours!Take care and Merry Christmas to you and your husband!Karen
This was very comforting to me. My brother (step) is going into the Navy in August and I am scared out of my...whatevers. I just love him so much. He is a quiet-like boy too. He never talks or argues or asks why him. I'm going to miss him. Thank you once again, and what more to say than (AGAIN) kudos and bravo, to both you AND your son. God Bless America.Love,Livia
Thank You Very Much for commenting on my blog! And tell your son also, Thank You. Being An Army Girlfriend, you learn to respect soldiers in all ways and fashion. I will be sure to let you kno on updates and thank you again for commenting my blog :)

This is such a beautiful collection of Scrapblogs. You (and your son) are very talented. Thanks to him for serving proudly!
It's a great tribute and you can watch him morph over the year. Best wishes to him and you.
wow Karen...I know you did this awhile back and this is a very touching and beautiful scrapblog for your son. May God bless your son and all those serving on our behalf. Beautiful scrapblog!Arlene :-D
Wow, what a nice blog! This one caught my eye because I was in the Air Force and also went through the 343rd Security Forces training squadron at Lackland. It was exciting to see his pictures from basic and especially his tech school pics. I was stationed at Lackland AFB after my training and deployed to Iraq for awhile, so I really enjoyed the pictures you had up of his deployment! I'm sure that you are very proud of your son & you should be. Take it from me, it's not easy being the one behind the gun, but we take a lot of pride in what we do! Tell him a fellow SF says "HUA!" I'm sure he'll laugh at that one! Thanks for posting a great scrapblog! .../Rachel Ferrer
This is a very nice scrapblog- I love looking at Military themed ones. My fiance is in the Marine Corps.Wonderful Job.God bless Kyle, and your family for the sacrifices you all are making.

Wow this is great...I wish I would have remembered the dates and such on the Navy Scrapbook I just did. I am so bad about writing things down. You must be so proud...I know the feeling when they are away. It is bittersweet and so joyous when they return.

This SB is wonderful and important. My dad gave his life to the Navy. Other than my fading memories, I have a few pics and papers. Kyle will look back one day and appreciate this precious record. God bless him and your family. I'll keep him in my prayers.

Karen, Like you, I will scrapblog my son's first year in the USAF which began July 2009- 6 year enlistemnt as a C130J Loadmaster (flyer)... thank you for such great ideas. I'm a USAF veteran, as is my husband (retired- 27 years), my son is the 4th generation USAF and 5th generation US Military. I'm wondering where you got so many great USAF stickers!??
