cazjane! This is one of the most incredible scrapblogs I've ever seen! I LOVE it! I love your use of tartans throughout... very smart idea! I'll be back to make many more comments... I'm going to view it again and again! I think this is one of your best scrapblogs... if not THE BEST! :)
Thank-you for your vote in challengo08.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTFUL.
Wow, this is absolutely stunning!! What beautiful photos of beautiful scenery!! I love all of them, but particularly the ones of the lakes/bodies of water with the reflections of the sky!!! I agree with Karen, that this is one of your best scrapblogs, if not THE BEST. I, too, love the tartans through-out and I love the simple, but effective accents/stickers on your pages. Also love the pages of collages. Those are some gorgeous mountains and hills also! These photos are postcard perfect and are stunning, given that they are taken with a camera phone!!Susie :)
The photo on the first page is stunning! I love the whole angle, the still water and the purple cast! It's beautiful! :)I appreciate the map on page 2... it's nice to see the route you travelled! :)
Well cazjane this was worth waiting for.53 delightful pages.I will show my extended family this scrapblog, they will be so interested as some of them would have been to these places.Pages 12 and 17 will have them talking. This scrapblog is a perfect example of why we needed the printing function....what a beautiful book is will make.LovePeggy
Thanks everyone for SUCH great comments....I'm about to go out but I'll get back to you all in time!
O.K. so I'm back now and can thank you all properly for really thoughtful comments. I hadn't intended this scrapblog to be SO long but I had over 200 photos and it was difficult to choose which to use! Yes, they were all taken with a camera'phone (or 'phone camera!) except for the tartans which were images scanned from wrapping paper bought in Inverness, the map- scanned from a tourist guide and the Cameron postcard and the writing paper (with quill pen )also scanned.I expect I should worry about copyright issues....again!
This is so wonderful. I agree, this is your best word ever. Thanks for you nice comments on our Halloween cats. Our cats love to pose for the camera. Bye, Alida
Hi CazjaneWow! This looks like an amazing trip. Some absolutely stunning photos and the colours are amazing! The lilacs and purples of the heather with the rusty reds and greens are incredible. I like the technique you've used to make the collage pictures with all the square images - what a great way to showcase a number of photos on a theme. Thank you for your kind comments about Jago's thank you card! Claire
Thank you Cazjane for your comment on my Scary Clown.
That waterfall on page 9 is sooooooo cool looking with all the chunky rocks! I love how the photo looks against the tartan swatches! :)
Thanks to you all! Have a good day and a fabulous weekend!
Thanks for your nice note on my "Fall Baby" scrapblog!! And thanks for the *love* as well. I'm not sure why it isn't displayed as my most recent scrapblog.......... perhaps because I started making it early on, but didn't finish and publish it until later. I see that this lovely scrapblog of yours is quite a hit!! Well deserving!!!
Does your comment mean you SEE 11:11 as well!If you ever want to leave a comment on my blog I have allowed anonymous comments to be posted, just put click on that button after you have written your comment and it will post the comment......please add your name cazjane so I will know who it is.
It will be interesting if you consciouslylook for 11:11, if it will appear on the clock.....let me know. Thanks for *loving* my Joseph Revisited scrapblog.....I put it all together so I can have it printed by scrapblog in a nice album and give it to Joseph's parents for Christmas. How's life in Walkfield. When you visited my blog it told me where you were. Was it correct?Take carePeggy
That was quick, miruspeg! No-I've never heard of Walkfield! I expect the 'blog' host put in some random place as I left an anonymous comment!
I'll just add my congratulations to your other friends on this site. So many good photographs, and some pages have even their own composites. Awesome Work! It screams to be printed indeed and I hope that you can do so soon. Perfect example of good use of SBlog.Thank you for your comments on my radio SBlog and I'm glad that it works.
Thanks, nbarnich! I think it is rather too long to be printed (20 page limit?) and I'm not sure about the 'shipping abroad' facility yet! I also have a word missing on one page and I'm too cowardly to open the scrapblog up again to edit in case I lose pictures!
Caz, girl, you are a star!!!! this is amazing.I take it you are still shooting with your mobile phone? The pictures of Ulapool, those reflections...ahhhh...I SHOULD go to Scotland! now you make me wanna go even more!I have a friend in Inverness...but these pages are magical, honest, you got better and better!I wanted to thank you for always popping in and leaving me messages, for inquiring about us [Peggy always updates me :)]I'm trying not to overload myself sitting at the computer, as my right arm after can be really painful, but slowly I'm trying to come and visit all my Friends here at Scrapblog...I'm sure Peggy has told you how much I miss you guys and being here...and how nice it is to have the knowdledge of people who, despite not having met in person, have good thought and prayers for us :)So, Thanks :) really appreciate it.Regarding the printing: NO, they are not printing anywhere but the US, I tried last night. I was thinking about getting Rebecca to pirnt them for me, and send her the money for her to send it via normal post?I ll write to her when I get a bit of time...I'm trying to catch up now!!! :)
Thanks for the long 'chat'and for loving this album, MrsPeel.....I'll go to your page.
Your photographs are stunning. This is a beautiful book! I've always loved the idea of the Scottish highlands, etc., and the moors from reading Emily Bronte. When I visited England, we went through the countryside once, by rail, to Dover, but I'm sure I missed out on some beautiful countryside during our trip. Luckily, I was able to visit Scotland through your pages! Thank you for creating and sharing.Roban
Cazjane, it is beautiful and compelling. It only makes me want to go there even more. I am so glad you were able to put this together. I began watching this at school, but soon realized it was going to take more than just glancing attention. I am just now getting to sit down and view it in its entirety. Thanks for sharing your wonderful trip.Annemarie
Hello! The next community challenge is underway... hope you're planning on joining in on the fun!Challenge 09: Scrap your favorite pet or animal... for those without pets (deadline 10/10)Be sure to tag your entry: challenge09Best wishes!Karen
I'm still amazed that you are producing these visually stunning photographs with your camera phone. I was thinking with this scrapblog that you had used a different camera... but no! You need to advertise for them! Seriously.
TAG again! I shall find a new term to use next time. :-) Just to leave you wondering.
Well I guess this time, by your comment 11:11 means you DID see it.....if you did your unconscious mind didn't take long to lock it in. As I have been seeing it since the 80's I now see it at least every 2nd day...it makes me happy for some reason.BTW when I wrote Walkfield I meant to write Wakefield, although it is still nowhere near where you live, so the maps aren't that accurate. Thanks for commenting on my blog, like Annemarie I enjoy reading the comments.According to google the temperature in the UK are dropping, while Sydney is continuing to rise although we are still getting a few storms and wet weather.Hope you have an enjoyable week.Peggy
Cazjane there are 100's of websites about 11:11 I have attached one below.I just think it is alot of fun and don't take too seriously.11:11

Thanks for stopping by, cazjane! Hope all is well with you! :)
Yes, I'd really love to live there some day, but if that never happens, I'm sure I'll at least visit! :) Thanks for stopping by... actually, I have another idea for another "English" scrapblog, so you could be seeing another one very soon! :)
Yes, another English-based scrapblog is on the way! I always find a way to MAKE time for scrapblogging... I also have a very fast internet connection... I'm sure that helps quite a bit! :)
Caz: someone we didnt know was getting married, the group was starting to make their way in when we arrived, so I got my camara fast (maybe not fast enought lol) and took some pics. When we were going out, they were leaving, so I take it that they had a bubble for the party and spend more time than a regular ride...regarding this SB: I know how one can get carried away when scrapbloging, so I understand the 53 pages, further more...I ve just looked at this again and, girl, it s well worth it!!!! :)glitter-graphics.com
I don't believe in the tarot cards either but I always enjoy playing games. To tell you the truth I had a couple of goes on that website and gave different answers then picked the one I liked the best....not quite in the spirit of the game I guess!!I always enjoy your comments on my blog, thanks for taking the time and visiting.Enjoy your day when you wake up.Peggy

Hello cazjane... Hope all is well with you!Yes, there were more 'hidden' pages in my Halloween Past! The 'hidden' pages contained png files from various scrapbook designers. I left the pages there for easy access, but I've since removed them!

Love the tartan on the pages. All the pictures are beautiful. I've been to Inverness, you have captured it perfectly.

Terrific album! You captured the mood of the locales and I learned. Thanks
Wow, this one left me breathless. Such beauty. Thanks for visiting my pages. So sorry to hear you lost your Father. It is so sad to loose our parents. I lost my Mother as well.
