This is zuper !!! Congratulations, this is a masterpiece. Must have been a whole lot of work. You have succeeded in creating an ancient atmosphere by the right use of colours and layout. The ancient Rome and Italy are reborn. I'm sure many Tour operators are waiting to embed this in their folders and flyers.friendly greetings from another old town in Europe, Antwerp ...zup
Wow! You have done a wonderful job. I enjoy your work!
Inquiring minds want to know... and this inquiring mind just found out... I just received the following message (via email) from Kyra, the creator of this wonderful scrapblog... I just wanted to share what she had to say, in her own words!Hi Karen, Thanks for your kind words. I enjoyed making my first scrapblog very much! It was actually an entry into a contest for an online scrapbook for the tour company we used for that trip but I didn't win. Everyday, I'm surprised to see how many people have viewed my album and have left such great comments! And... since you asked it took me about 3 months to complete since I only worked on it at night after work and on the weekends when I had free time. Kyra aka "Kyra841"
I'm amazed this one didn't win the contest....what must the winning entry be like?! I'm not surprised it took three months-the effort and detail proves how long it must have taken.
cazjane, I was wondering the same thing... about which one(s) actually won the contest! I think this scrapblog is just about perfect! It would make a great published book some day... I really *love* it!
I love Ali Edwards and I LOVE this scrapblog. It's totally awesome!
This was amazing. I *love* this scrapblog. It makes me want to run out and get a plane ticket to Italy right now. I am so jealous. You placed each picture perfectly. The postcards were wonderful, and it was a great idea to show each portion of the tour and let the viewer know what you saw before the pictures in your "itinerary." Thanks for taking the time to make this travelogue.
It's fabulous! This is the scrapblog that I enjoyed the most... It can really shows how gorgeous there are! Hope you could crate more and more blogs for us to view on them.

hannahbananaa....thanks for your kind words. I hope you had a great time in Europe -- I can't wait to go again myself. It's fine with me if you design your own front page that resembles mine from this album. I'm glad that my work inspired you.

Excellent scrapblog. I love that you had so much journalling to highlight your activities. I noticed you didn't use many "stickers" or other embellishments; mostly framed pictures and the paper. In your credits you mention some digital scrapbook materials. Did you make some of your pages in software on your desktop and then upload them as jpgs to fill the page?Like the others I can't imagine that someone else won the contest for the best online scrapbook. Maybe you got an "honourable mention" at least?
Wow! Beautifully done!
Congratulations on creating a real masterpiece. I am blown away by your scrapblog on Italy. It is truly a work of art. Keep up the good work!
